Early-onset strabismus as a presenting sign of mitochondrial disease: two cases.
To describe the characteristic ocular motility disturbances in two patients with infantile-onset mitochondrial disease due to a mutation in the mitochondrial DNA. Case reports. The ocular motility disturbances, in conjunction with the clinical manifestations of the two patients, are discussed. The detection of ocular motility disturbances, including strabismus, ophthalmoplegia, and ptosis, in young children with otherwise unexplained problems may lead to the diagnosis of mitochondrial disease. Strabismus may be an early presenting sign in mitochondrial disease and, therefore, should be considered in children with an otherwise unexplained history of strabismus and abnormalities in eye movement.Q:
How to merge two fields into a single field in Oracle
I have two fields; one is a type of varchar and the other is a number. I want to calculate the result and have it in a third field.
I have tried to use this:
SELECT
VAR_FIELD_1,
COUNT(*) OVER () AS AVERAGE
FROM
TABLE1
But I get an error:
ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
00907. 00000 - "missing right parenthesis"

How can I do this?
A:
The only way to join multiple columns is to create an alias with table1.col1, col2.
What you probably want is an aggregate function, rather than a count. So, you can use AVG:
SELECT AVG(VAR_FIELD_1) OVER (PARTITION BY NULL),
AVG(COUNT(*) OVER ())
FROM TABLE1;
It is not clear from your question, but if you want to be able to differentiate between AVG of the single value and the average of values, you can do something like this:
SELECT VAR_FIELD_1,
(CASE WHEN COUNT(*) OVER () > 1 THEN
